Let's talk about AHS...
I just saw the latest episode yesterday (because ever since my father started watching it too, we watch it together and apparently he can't watch it without subtitles like I do, and subtitles only came out yesterday. It sucks) and well, where do I begin?
I had a bit of a problem with Dr. Thredson. Up until now he was one of my favourite characters (along with Lana and devil possessed!Mary Eunice, so much fun!) but now I gotta rethink things...
First, the thing with Lana. That was absolutely horrible and disgusting, and I admire Lana for trying everything to get out of that place, but it was crossing a line. It's just awful on so many levels that I can't even talk about it. Although he tried to redeem himself by promising he'll take her out, I'm not sure how much I believe his intentions are sincere... but more on that later.
The other thing was with Kit. Excuse me if I'm wrong (but I'm not wrong) but wasn't Dr. Thredson the one who had said, just last episode, that maybe Kit isn't actually Bloodyface? And now he was all like: "confess to what you did" and shit... it felt kind of off to me.
Which is why I have to say, there might be a real possibility to the theory that Thredson is Bloodyface. It would explain why he said that to Kit, and why he promised Lana to get her out. So he could kill her too.
Otherwise, I don't know who else could be Bloodyface, except Arden, but that would be way too obvious, and I don't think they're gonna go with that.
On another note, Grace seems fucking obsessed with Kit. And not in the cute way Tate was obsessed with Violet, but in the "I-will-kill-you-if-you-can't-be-mine" way. She was basically hugging that wall, like... what even. I think she's gonna get even crazier and shit will go down.
But besides that, I do like Grace, I just don't ship her with Kit. I don't see it. And she better not get pregnant! We had enough baby craziness on AHS for a lifetime.
Which brings us to that sex scene that I did not see coming because Kit cheated on Alma so easily! (Even if she's probably dead.) It was kind of obvious something will happen between Kit and Grace sooner or later, but I expected later rather than sooner. It was just a little unrealistic, because aren't Kit supposed to be still grieving Alma? Guess that's how much he really loved her, huh?
I don't really like Kit, truth be told. Now, before you throw tomatoes at me, I'll explain.
His character completely feels like a waste of time. Honestly, I think everyone's exciting in some way or another, everyone except Kit. It's just, what's his purpose, besides being the one to be accused of being Bloodyface? He's boring and he's just kind of there.
Maybe my expectations are too high after Tate, but still, every other actor from season 1 got a great character. It's just a shame to let Evan's talent go to waste, because we know he has one.
So I don't know why people love him so much, other than the fact that everybody's obsessed with Evan. If maybe someone could explain that to me, it'd be great.
Also, how many times will they show us the flashback of Sister Jude hitting that little girl? They show it at least two times every single episode, it's getting a bit annoying.
And as an ending thought, can possessed Mary Eunice get more scenes please? She's so hilarious and I think Lily Rabe plays the role so well. I can't wait to see what will come out of it.
