Weekend

First off, I finished playing Phoenix Wright Justice for All. I liked it, but it got tedious. I don't know if I would play another one of these games, but am glad I played the one. I used a guide at some points when I just couldn't figure out what I had to do next, and luckily the game doesn't have any "no return" points that change your ending or anything like that. Now I am playing Might and Magic Clash of Heroes, and loving it!

So, I saw "Despicable Me" this weekend. That was a really cute one. I loved the minions! If I can get myself together, I want to make minion stuffed toys. The ones for sale are pretty cheap and cruddy looking. Anyway, it was a fast, easy to watch, fun movie, with a killer soundtrack by Pharrell! (And you all know how I feel about Pharrell...)

Saturday we went out to Jamaica Plain to meet up with Ross's family at his sister's place. We all went out to lunch at the JP Seafood Cafe, which does brunch that is half traditional brunch fair and half Japanese. Like, katsu curry don with home fries and fruit salad. I had the veggie sushi combo, and a side of the home fries which were pretty nice. After lunch, we headed to JP Licks, where I had the kowlua (Kahlua pun) brownie. That's a pretty excellent flavor! I think Ross had the pumpkin spice ice cream, which was also very tasty. We relaxed and chatted at Dawn's apartment for a bit before heading home.

Saturday night I met up with Miranda in Central Square. We did a little costume shopping, and then walked up to Harvard. We started out at Cafe Algiers for cookies and tea, and then hung out at the Garage since we wanted to be somewhere indoors after we finished our snacks. Alice joined us for a few minutes, too! And it was crazy, we were sitting in the food court area by the Ben and Jerry's, and Hat was working there that night! He was living in PA for a while, and I didn't realize he had made it back here already!

Sunday was supposed to be a hike, but no one except me wanted to go! I couldn't even get Ross to go... Sigh. So instead I worked on all kinds random stuff around the house. Mmm... we had the last of the sweet potato gnocchi for dinner. Those were pretty darn good.
