ISSST
Yes, ISSST. International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology. Today was the last day of the conference! I've been having a lot of fun hanging out with Sahil and Natalia. I was sort of lucky, I had one of the earliest talks, so I was able to enjoy the rest of the conference. I also actually did prepare my slides ahead of time, so that helped. Lots of people were working on their talks up to the time of said talks! On the whole, I enjoyed many of the sessions, but some were of more substance than others. On the whole, our group killed! My advisor liked all our talks and gave us all some good compliments. He seemed actually impressed. And we all did well with the audiences and their questions. My advisor's talks were really good, his presentation style is really suited for these types of events, He makes it look easy. We were also some of the "good question" askers. So yeah, I'm feeling pretty good about it!
I'm working on seeing the sights, and I met up with Synthia, her sis Regina, and Esther. Tomorrow I am meeting up with Anna!
