Pics from New York and the rest of my week...

So here's some pictures from my trip to New York last week. The butterflies are super cute.

Anyway, this week has been pretty slow, which is a good thing. On Tuesday, I went to see sister at the Museum of Science for lunch. It was pretty awesome! It was a little bit of a rough weather day, so I was a little frazzled when I got there. There were tons of school kids! We actually ate at the cafeteria, which really isn't that expensive, and throw in the employee discount, it's very reasonable. I had the soup and mini-sandwich combo at the Wolfgang Puck counter... Man that potato leek soup was amazing. I would definitely eat that again! We cruised through the exhibits a bit, in particular to see my sister's cases. Yes, that's right, she did two cases! See, check out these pictures!

We looked at the new triceratops, and checked out the identity exhibit, too!

Wednesday I did a neuroscience experiment, for Kiersten's lab. A dual n-back test. That stuff if mentally exhausting! And I have to go do it again next week! I do feel like I could improve my performance with coaching/practice.

Thursday I went back to the Picower to have lunch in the tree room with Kiersten. That was pretty sweet. There's a lot of nice bamboo, and you can get a great view in some secluded spots. The only danger is the auto-adjusting shades. I don't think they can get you, but they come a little close! We grabbed a coffee at Stata, too. By coffee I mean chai for me, since I am a caffeine wuss!

Tonight I am heading to Brambleberry to meet up with melindasmonster!
