Now Rachel was very suspicious of Melissa and thought her a posh girl because she had a fancy push button umbrella complete with polka dots for the umbrella dance and Rachel only had a frilly stripy one that her Dad had bought cheap

Of course now I've read it again, I've made myself sound a wee bit like an alcoholic who is always having boy trouble.

And I'm nowhere near (and never was) the alcoholic standard of Sean and Harry and I've never even had that much boy trouble, it's just what little I have had seems to be quite dramatic and therefore memorable...

*giggle* It did make you sound a bit man-mad. It's true that your trouble with blokes is disproportionately dramatic to the time you've spent in relationships. I swear to God, you'll ring me up one day and tell me you're about to have a shotgun wedding with somebody I don't know, and it's complicated but please can I get my ass on the next train to (somewhere rural) so I can witness your wedding! ;-)

I know, my romantic life is entirely dramatic for brief periods every couple of years. It's just that I went through my second and third years at Uni (while you were off being adventurous and getting seriously involved with Fabrizio) being super dramatic (even when I see Roy now I go all squishy inside...)!!

I have done my own drunken post too but it's just not as funny as yours. Or as good at predicting the future...
