So tonight was one of the best nights of my life. Well, it started out a little shaky, but what fairytale doesn't. So I was working, doing my thing while people walked around gazing at art and talking with the painter. Then this little boy who crushed on my a month ago came back, and this time with a faux hawk. I gaged a little in my mouth.
Well, the whole night he comes in and out tapping me, oogling me, and getting up in my business. He even tapped my butt alittle...Steam. So I shoo him out of the kitchen and then a stranger walked in.
I swear when I laid eyes on him doves where flying into the sky and bells where chiming my song. His name is Ivan, he is tall, tan, and yes handsome. So I switch on my suave button and actually start to charm him while I make him some Chai. He flirts back, I freak out and become giddy, but keep my cool.
Meanwhile Junior gets jealous and starts staring at me from across the room and makes faces. He tries to interfere with my conversations with Ivan, but I don't allow it, I mean I don't put up with dat shit.
So after the little one leaves I find myself alone chatting with Ivan in the empty coffeehouse. He enjoys drinking fine teas and coffees, he appreciates art, turns out he's bilingual and teaches children at an elementary school, and studies at my college...I'm falling in love. So after 15 minutes(count them) of chatting I realize we've been closed for several minutes. I pull my act together and begin cleaning...He follows, oh yeah he kept talking and seemed very interested in moi.
But sadly he had to leave. He promised he would come again to see me. I melted and then Deb, and Dave made fun of me, but in a polite way.They mocked me for not getting a number and demanded to be invited to the wedding. I threw a couple sly remarks back and left walking on cloud. Fred Astaire would have been jealous.
Never in my life have I fallen head of heels for a strange man, Never! I use to doubt this feeling at first sight, but I guess today that fat cherub cupid proved me wrong. I'm off to go bathe in tea. Chao Bitches.
