"I swallowed poison apple bitterness.
He has those rock hard abs, defined in a plastic Ken doll kind of way, but this one has a fully functioning libido, this Ken is doing every barbie doll in town. He even has the blank Ken doll stare and the Ken doll manufactured personality. Put your words in his mouth and he'll say everything you want to hear"
I just finished reading 'Why Girls are Weird' by Pamela Ribon because I was told this blurb was from that book. It was a little shocking for me because at the time I had never read the book outside of a few snippets where the main character is washing someone's hair.
It drove me crazy until I made Mike drive me to one of the libraries in town (none of which were close...figures). I finished the book last night and while there were mentions of Barbie and Ken, I never read anything remotely resembling my snippet. I'm wondering if perhaps I may have missed it, but at this point I'm thinking that my unintentional copy doesn't exist (unless someone has a page # and paragraph to show that I did indeed miss it). Which, thank goodness, because I would have been really strange.
