What a day, what a day
Today has been just one of those days that you have to look back on and smile. It started out with me getting to sleep in becuase I decided that sleep was more important than waking up early to read. Then I went to honors class where I got back the paper that I wrote comparing and contrasting The Sicilian Expedition and the War in Iraq. I got an A with "excellent" written out to the side. YAY! Then I didn't have Psych class becuase it was cancelled, so i went to the journalism building to turn in my application for The Kernel (the newspaper here). While I was sitting there i turned to look who was next to me and it was... CHUCK HAYES!!! Yeah, enough said. So then I went to my Pain, Suffering, and Healing class where we learned about accupuncture. A lady came in and performed it on our teacher. The best part were the little blocks that she burned that smelled a lot like pot. After that class I was done for the day. Katie and I cleaned up our room for our OC/Survivor/Apprentice party that we hosted in our room. It was me, katie, jay, jessica, ross, chris w., mary margaret and chris h. Fun times although the OC was a bit of a let down. Hopefully it starts picking up soon. Ross and Chris stuck around for a while. Jess came back too. Then everyone went home. Then the fun started when Ross gave me, katie, mm, and maggie a concert over ichat. He's a really good singer/guitarist. He played for about an hour and a half and despite what he may think, it was beautiful. So now it's time to go to sleep. Only one class tomorrow and then i'm going home for a day. I hope everyone is doing great!
