This love isn't good unless it's me and you.

I really want to donate everything in my closet and just start over.

When I packed for Memorial Day weekend, I just stared in my closet. I have nothing I actually want to wear. I have decent clothing, but I don't actually like anything I have.

Next week What Not to Wear will feature a woman in a wheelchair, and I'm curious to see what they tell her about lines and cuts and proportions. That's something I'm much more conscious of. I bought a flowy summer dress that was very cute, but the fabric doesn't settle right when you sit down, it bubbles and puckers. And since I'm going to be sitting 100% of the time, I may never wear that dress.

I went to GoodWill last night and got a few stuff. I got two pairs of jeans, one of them was very short on me, but if i roll up the cuffs they're fine for little capris or board short type style. $10 for two pairs of jeans is a definite deal. I got two basic shirts and another that's more dressy; a top rather than a shirt. (Am I the only one who makes that distinction?) I got a very cute jean jacket that has the look of having a hoodie underneath, the hoodie doesn't actually exist. When I looked at it again this morning I discovered a little prize, thumb holes! I love thumb holes. I got a sweater that also had a little prize; the original tags. A brand new sweater for less than half the price it was originally!

life, random, shopping
