Writer's Block: 9/11

Sep 11, 2011 18:22

I was in eighth grade. Second period algebra with Mrs. Arnold. Mrs. Gerson came into the room, crying, and told us that a plane just hit the first tower.

--Our school was set up into seventh and eighth grade class, and each grade was made of two teams.--

The Stars team all gathered in one of those classrooms with the retractable wall. The wall was move so half the eighth grade was set up in those two rooms, with tvs at either end. We just sat in there the whole day, watching the news.

ETA: After reading a few of the responses to this writer's block, I just have to say, WOW! Seriously people, how cynical and mean spirited humanity can be on a day that's supposed to bring us all together. Color me disappointed.

life, school, writer's block
