What do you think the greatest song of the decade is?

Of course I took this question as a world-wide thing instead of personal.

I think I have to say 2004's Toxic by Britney Spears. It's just an epic song, and it was just huge. It's Britney. Bitch.

This question makes me think of certain songs, though. Songs that were just everywhere. Like Nickelback's 'How You Remind Me'. You could just not escape that song, and it's still a little difficult. Everytime you turned on the radio that song was on. It definately makes the list.

There are also songs that I'm not sure if they were really big, or just really big with me&friends. I remember playing 'Skater Boy' all the time, but was that  just some freaky obsession, or was that a nation-wide thing?

And I distinctly remember walking through a Jewel with Moll.y and Tracy screaming the lyrics for 'Cleaning Out My Closet'.

Then there was Sugarcult. Good old Sugarcult. I have to think that if they had one (or two) of the greatest songs of the decade they'd be a bigger name.  Yet Tracy, Cara, and I had 'Bouncing Off The Walls' and 'Saying Goodbye' on repeat for an entire summer. It's what we listened to. And because it involved Cara, I'm thinking her underground, hipster, indie music guru of and older sister had something to do with this one.
