Gretchen's still a loon

It's driving Dan crazy watching Heroes once a week. He says there's no flow. We've been watching the dvds, so it was like three episodes a night. I informed him that is how normal people normally watch tv. He hates it.

I told him it will take like a year to watch a twenty episode season, not to mention winter break when nothing knew is on tv through December. He's never watched a complete show through a year, it's weird. Like it took us two, maybe three months to watch Lost. I've been watching this show for five years, and he's complaining.

Even though Heroes is going to be canceled because Claire's little lesbo kiss didn't help ratings, and killing off a main character isn't going to help ratings, and Matt Parkman hasn't been in it for like three weeks and that's not helping me want to stay tuned. Not to mention that this new story with the carnies doesn't make any sense and no one is intrested enough to care.

There's this new girl , I don't know her name, she's deaf and her ability is to see sound. (Not a great power.) Peter absorbed her ability, and there was this scene in the last episode where they're sitting and the piano, and they're playing, and they're looking at the sound. It's a bit of scene, not so long, but longer than necessary. Dan asks what they're doing with this junk if they're trying to boost ratings. It is really beyond me that he didn't realize that they're showing Peter falling in love with this woman. When I told him he just sounded confused.

If you want to boost ratings, you don't use little publicity stunts and you don't try to do something shocking. All you have to do is add a love story. Is there seriously any show that doesn't have the love story, and are there any shows where that love story is not your favorite aspect?

This may just be girly thing, or this may just be a personal thing, but this deaf woman could be my new favorite. I mean if they're not going to spice up Matt Parkman's life.
