The trip out.

ok, so I know i took to long to post this but I'm posting it now, here it is.
On the last Saturday of July I loaded up my car and with Bry headed out to JFK.  Bry dropped me off.  We must have taken to long to say goodbye b/c the guard started to yell at us to get a move on.  So one more kiss and he drove my car back to Pottstown.  Chellie's fight from Buffalo, NY  was right on time and we waited a while and went over every thing.  Then it was onto the plane to Tokyo.  It was a 20 hour flight I don't remember much about it, except seeing artic ice pack, frozen salt water...it was really stunning.  In Japan we had a two hour layover.  We tried to sleep.  We met up with the Bravettis just as boarding was called.  They were upholding cultural stereotypes of lawyers from Manhattan...
It was a five hour flight to Ho Chi Min City...we were so excited.  The airport was mobbed it looked more like 30th station or a bus terminal.  There was a crush of people at every door.  It was the first time i saw the police wearing kelly green, red, and gold...
We met Lilian, our translator and the rep. of the adoption agency, and we got in a cab.  The Bravettis had 12 bags to our 4, it made for a tight spot in the cab.  It was 11pm on Sunday...crossing the date line we had lost the weekend somewhere.
