Shinjuku
MaruiONE
This map is very out of date! I’d say that Marui One is where Marui City is, or maybe In the room?
Edit:
That's what you get for hot linking! Map is gone! Nevermind, hopefully the top two maps will help! XD
The easiest way is to take the metro to Shinjuku sanchome and one of the exits takes you right up next to Marui One! If you’re coming from the overground take the east exit and walk until you see Studio Alta in front of you. Turn right and carry up the road and you’ll get to Marui One.
The top but one floor has most the lolita brands. Meta, AP, Baby, Kera Shop angel (mixture of classic and sweet brands - IW, Mille fleurs, MAM, etc etc), Kera shop something else (gothic including Moitie), Atelier Boz. Downstairs on various floors are Alice and the Pirates, BPN, h.Naoto, Excentrique, Alice Auaa (Go in this shop, it is the coolest shop ever!), ETC, a shop selling Yosuke shoes, Algonquins, artherapie (Expensive to die for bags) Jesus Dimante and many many more - lolita shopping heaven! I loved Marui One first time I was there (don’t miss the loos, resting area and green tea frappes from the machine on the loli floor) but found the shop staff quite hostile and unfriendly when we went back.
Closet child is also tricky. Keep walking back along Shinjuku Doori (away from MaruiOne and back towards the overground) past Stuido Alta and the road will bend to the right. Cross the road under the railway bridge and look up and straight ahead - you should be able to see the Closet Child sign! Cross the road diagonally left to get to it (and cross over to the other side of that road). The entrance is quite hidden. It’s a narrow passage into the building next to a restaurant. You should go up two or three steps and then come to a lift. The floors are marked but it’s punk/Vivienne Westwood, lolita and then gothic as you go up.
One last thing, don’t forget Innocent World! It’s in a tower block (like, an apartment block) past and on the same side of the road as Studio Alta, walking towards Marui One. It’s just past the Kinokuniya bookshop (Pick up your GLBs, Keras and Agehas here!)
