'MANDA!!!! Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude! What's cookin' good lookin'? I was taking a break from decorating my room, which is now extremely colorful-bohemian-loungy feeling, and I decided to get myself a glass of wine and read about your life via livejournal. It sounds like summer is going well, but you haven't updated in a while and I guess I'm ok with that. Just do what you gotta do. I too miss my dickinson buds, but I'm feeling extremely torn about going back. Let me tell you what I'm thinking, as I really don't feel like going back to my room and subjecting my finger tips to the torture of pushing T-pins into the ceiling. You know, God did a lot of things right, but what was he thinking making our fingertips so damn sensitive. Hello--earth to God, we USE our fingertips. Perhaps we'll eventually evolve with nails that cover our fingertips. It wouldn't look too cute, but it sure would be practical. Anywho, I'm thinking I'm over dorm life. I had a lot of fun living in the dorms first year, but I think I've had the experience. All my friends are moving out of the dorms and into apartments and houses and stuff, paying rent and utilities and decorating and basically being adults, but I still get three more years of sheltered crazy sleepless dormlife. I'm also over PA. I've had that experience too and I kinda want something new. But junior year is looking good for trying new things. But I can't wait to see everyone. I bought some cheap italian drinks for our glorious reunion--GET EXCITED!!! Those are my thoughts for now. Oh! I've decided against wedding planning, and I think I'm gonna do peace corp my first two years out of college. Just thought I'd run that by you. I'm jealous of all the great work experience you're getting out there. We'll have to compare notes on working for caterers. But that experience is excellent for the resume. Wish I could use accents, but I'm sure you knew I meant the noun and not the verb. You always were a thinker, 'manda. That's what I like about you, always thinking. Haha, well I bet this is the weirdest comment you've received in a while! Hope all is well, keep updating! Later!!!

YOU haven't updated in an extremely long time either, also okay though. w/e works. the fingertip thing is a real good call - why DON'T we have nails or tough like.....turtle shells or something on our fingertips. makes way more sense. hmph. junior year IS looking good, i can hardly wait. and hopefully spain next summer. woo-hoo.

no wedding planning? boom, where'd that come from? that's crazy sudden. but cool if that's what you want. peace corps is sweet though. i don't think i could do it, you're a far better person than me. it'll be SO rewarding/cool though.

for the record i DID in fact know which resume/resume you were referring to, although when i read accents, at first i thought you meant accent i.e. british not accient i.e. a tilde or something.

ooh w/ the room decorating. i'm sure it looks cool. i'm jealous - my room's been the same since 7th grade. but i guess that's ok, it's not TOO bad. and YOU missy should keep updating too.
