The last week had been a nice recovery from last weekend's monster fighting in El Paso, and getting Jaime back from the Bleed, including Priestly's drunk-dialing birthday call. But it had also involved a lot of catch-up because of said weekend, so now Dinah finally felt like she could catch up on her own life.

Thus: homework. With off and on glances at the phone for hopefully a distraction.
