All the pictures were off the walls. She'd said good-bye to Jak and Roy, Katchoo and Francine, and a slew of other people at last night's party. All the books were packed and sent. Everything was gone except Dinah's dufflebag for her trip to California and Canada, her computer and her cat.

And one or two things to give away to people before she left.
