(no subject)
Well, as I sit here bored at work, I decided.....why the hell not update my super sweet livejournal?! Luckily I've already made it through the majority of the day (only a few more hours!!) so hopefully this holds my boredom over until 5PM. Also, it is exciting to realize that it is already TUESDAY!! Holiday weekends are lovely. This way, it still feels like Monday, but when Friday comes around it will be extra nice.
Anyways, this weekend was a lot of fun. I headed back to the R-O Friday afternoon. On the way I stopped in the EL to see Bri's new apartment AND new boy ;) and I am happy to report both were VERY cute. hehe. I hung out there for a little while then continued my 3 hour journey and got home about 7. Hung out with my sister for a bit then my dad and I went to Caribou together!! It was so funny. He's trying to be hip and hang out at the coffee shop but it doesn't really fit him too well.
Saturday I was supposed to hang out with Mel but she was busy so I call Evonne and she was a little busy too (yeah, randomly in New York for the weekend shopping...who does that?! i'm jealous). Ended up just chillin most of the day. When Mary got off work we traveled to Somerset and I got an........iPod, baby!! I loooove it it's so cute. I did not get my signiture color (pink) and got silver instead. It's so fun I was putting music on it all last night and it's still no where near full. It makes me even more excited to go workout tonight and listen to it! eeeeek!! As you can tell, it doesn't take much to excite me. After that, we went Target-ing. Super fun as always. Then, I get a call from Christina who definitely needed to go out so we hit up da club. Clutch Cargos sucks but hey it's free and something to do. We still had a good time but only stayed til about 1.
Sunday consisted of some more nothing during the day, but it was okay because I had to prepare for my Pistons Party ;). Last year during playoff time, me and all my girls got together for every game and that seemed to give them pretty good luck so I figured our team was in desperate need of any luck they can get. I even made lil basketball cookies :) So Christina, Lauren, Bri, and Jessica came over. We ended up talking the whole game and not paying good attention so that's why they lost I think :( We were all sad.
Sooooo Monday came along. Me, Bri and Lauren met @ Caribou. Ash and Tiffany were working. We chilled for a while then did some Target shopping (my home away from home). Soon after, I headed back to KZoo due to the lack of ANYTHING to do in Romeo. Seriously, how do u people survive during the summer?!
