Just got home from Camp today. I'm gunna write the entry about it now before I go to Cassie's tonight, just so I don't have to worry about doing it on Monday.

Monday morning I woke up and did a few last minute things before showering, getting dressed, and doing my hair for Camp that day. I was reeeeeeeally excited about it, so when Kiwi and her mom came, we put my stuff in the van and drove off quickly. We got there and about half an hour away, we stopped for bagels and such. The ride there seemed to take forever, when it really only took maybe two hours.

We finally reached camp and Kiwi and I got out of the car to go to the dining hall to sign in. We saw Ashleigh, Lexy, Lerby, Cassie, and Steph waiting at the front of the line, so we went and talked to them but realized we needed a parent before we were allowed in. Well, our moms were parking the car, so we went to the back of the line and waited there and eventually they came. We went in, got checked for lice and athlete's foot, then got our cabin numbers and were lead to the cabin by Sean, Cassie's friend and a volunteer counselor for the week. We got to the cabin and I was told I was bunking with Ashleigh, so I went to the car for my stuff with Kiwi, and, with the help of Lexy and Cassie, got all of mine and Kiwi's stuff back to the cabin. I unpacked my bathroom stuff and my brush, made my bed, and then went and hung out on the porch with my cabin mates. Everyone else showed up and we had a total of 11 people in our cabin: Me, Ashleigh, Kiwi, Lexy, Cassie, Lerby, Hannah, Steph, Kaitlyn, Elise, and Sara. We all hung out with Carys and Lindsay (our counselors) for a while, and I met Tim. Then we went to lunch, then to 3rd period, which, for me, Ashleigh, and Cassie, was drama 2.

We got our scripts and were given parts for the camp production of The Wizard of Oz which we called "Wizzing Through Oz." Ashleigh was Dorothy, Cassie was the Tin Man, I was the Wizard, and Ben was the Narrator. Patrick from last year was the Lion, this kid Tom was an awesome scarecrow, and a girl named Arden was the Wicked Witch of the West. Other people were in it too but I forget their names. After that we had Rec, during which most of our cabin refused to take the test because none of us wanted to swim in the lake all week, so we got the stylish red band things that we had to wear all week. After rec was cabin time, then dinner, then we went to flag lowering, then Vespers, and back to the cabin to change for the all camp games in the field, a.k.a. the Bowl.

The first game we played was some weird game that I don't remember but it was just weird. The second game we played was a form of Octopus tag called Cactus Tag I think it was. Twas fun and I scared a little kid, which totally kicked butt for a while. After that, we sung Linger and Taps, then my cabin had to go to our CIT meeting, which was entertaining. Then we all ran to the cabin, grabbed our stuff, and ran to take a shower. Then we came back, changed, and went to bed.

Tuesday we woke up and went to breakfast/flag raising. Then we did camp cleanup, then back to the cabin, then to our first class. Lexy, Ashleigh, and I all had Outdoor Cooking with Dictator Andrew. He took the role and immediately he began pronouncing everyone's name wrong. Then he yelled at Ashleigh for having sandals on, so he sprayed her with water from his water bottle. Then we finally headed down to the outdoor cooking ring for class. We were supposed to make Baked Apples but Andrew couldn't get the damned fire started. During this time, Lexy, Ashleigh, and I began talking and he got mad and told us to stop. All class he was yelling at one of the three of us, no matter what we did. Finally that ended and we went to the cabin to get our papers for CIT class, then headed to CIT class. We did this weird thing where we threw stuffed animals at each other, then talked, then class ended adn we went back to our cabins before lunch. After lunch it was back to drama to work on our skit, then rec again, then cabin time, during which we talked for a while and ate our food from before.

After cabin time was dinner, then flag lowering and vespers, then time to get ready for our cabin choice activity for the night....we had chosen to make friendship bracelets the first half and have a campfire with teh oldest guys cabin (cabin 1) the second half. Our first half plans got ruined because they didnt have string or anything to give us, so we worked on our cabin skit for the Talent Show which was to be held on Thursday night. Then at like 8:30 or whatever time it was, we headed down to the lakeside fire ring for our campfire with the guys. They all came in one big pack and as soon as they got close to us you could smell at least five different types of cologne. People made smores and ate them, then a bunch of us started talking in one group. It was me, Ashleigh, Kiwi, Lerby, and Stephanie for the girls and (lets see if I can remember) Jimmy, Sean, Steve, Adam, and some other kids I dont know the names of for the guys. We all talked about random stuff for a while, then they had to leave cus they had to be in bed at like 9:30 becaude of Andrew (the counselor in their cabin) and his rules for bed time. He takes two minutes off their bedtime if they curse or say the word cute to someone (dont ask). Then us girls headed to the CIT meeting, then to the showers and back to our cabin for bed.

Wednesday was the last hot day of the week and it wasnt as bad as Monday and Tuesday were. It threatened to rain all day, which made everyone edgy, but it was ok. Outdoor cooking actually got the fire started this time, and we made pizza. Then, during the CIT meeting, we did the Human Knot and a ball game where we had to keep the ball in the center of a bunch of strings and walk in different weird places without dropping it. Needless to say, we dropped it twice, but thats luckily not the record. Then came Lunch, which was interesting as usual. Then we went to Drama 2, and we practiced on the actual stage which was good, and we used our actual props and stuff, then on to rec time. During land rec, Cassie and I had "Cassie and Lee time" and just talked about the week so far, and what we thought was going to happen the rest of the week. Then we had water rec, which was spent with most of us admiring "pretty Paul", a hot English counselor who's a lifeguard as well. Then on to cabin time, then dinner, and then to the evening activity, which was the Fun Fair.

Cassie, Ashleigh, and I ran around collecting props for our booth in the fun fair which was the crazy photo booth. Each cabin had one minute to put on the crazy clothes, then pose in front of the lake and we took their pictures, then they had to put the clothes and stuff back neatly for the next cabin adn we gave them points for creativity and such. That was a funny booth to say the least and the CITs got ice cream for running booths. Then we had a CIT meeting, like every night, then shower time and then bed. Lexy and I stayed up til like 12 talking about random stuff and woke up tired as anything the next morning.

Thursday was the first of the three cold days at camp. I woke up freezing and went to breakfast in a hoodie and jeans, along with basically everyone else in the camp. In outdoor cooking we made quesadillas and then in CIT we did the magic carpet and we started the log game. Then we went back to the cabins, then to lunch, which was the "Dress as a Counselor or Camper" theme. Lexy and I had borrowed Ben's clothes from his co-counselor Steve (who is now my favorite counselor EVER) so we could dress up like Ben. That was fun for a while, then we changed and went to drama 2, where we had to be off of our scripts and have a dress rehearsal. Luckily, that went pretty well, except for a few people forgetting lines (myself included). Then rec time wsa spent making bracelets for land rec, and threatening to chop off the guys penises if they hit me or Ashleigh with the soccer ball in land rec. :) Then we went back to the cabin, then to dinner, flag lowering, and vespers, and then to the Talent Show. Our Cabin was during the second act and we did an edition of "Who's Line is It Anyway?" with Sara and I as the hosts. The games we did were the party game and Scenes from a Hat, which everyone seemed to like. Then after that it was time for a CIT meeting, then back to the cabin for bed.

Friday I woke up freezing my ass off. Luckily it was pajama breakfast, so I just threw on a hoodie, socks, and sneakers before heading to the dining hall for breakfast. Then it was time for Outdoor Cooking, where we did the cookoff and my team won because some kid ate something gross and grossed out Paige and Andrew. Andrew gave out the awards and I got one for "talking...always...please stop" because Andrew loves me. (haha yeah right) Then we went to CIT and finished the Log game and played some other games, then to lunch, then to the BATTLE FOR THE RANCH! which was a totally kick ass game. Then after that we put on our performance of "Wizzing Through Oz" which went well, then back to the cabin to change for the Dinner Extravaganza. We all wore skirts and dresses and then ate dinner in them and talked to STEVE! the coolest counselor in the world!!! Oh man, he's awesome. He was saying all these curses with his Scottish accent because he's one of the Internationals from Scotland (obviously) and it was hysterical.

After dinner was the closing campfire, which we CITs sang at. We sang "Good Riddance" by Green Day. Then that ended and we had to line the trail to the Honor Camper ceremony and everyone said thank you to us for our hard work during the week. I got more high fives and thank yous then I could count and Tim told me that I was the first camper's name that he learned because I was the first camper he really met. go me. At the honor camper thing, Ashleigh and I were standing next to Sean and his friend who's name I don't know and lemme just say now that Sean is as stupid as a blade of grass. Yeah he's cute and all, but he's stupid as hell. He said that he didnt wanna do the Limbo at the dance because that topic came up and I snapped at him and he called me a brat, not a bitch but a brat, and then Ashleigh was looking at him because his friend was saying stuff about us to him, so he asked her why she was looking at him and I told him it was because "she wants to take a baseball bat to your head" and he got mad at me for saying that. Tom won the Head category for Honor Camper, which made Ashleigh and I proud because that kid is all around awesome. Other people won, then we were dismissed to our cabins to change for the dance. We all changed into long pants and sneakers, then made our way to the dance and had a blast. Twas a lot of fun but we didn't get our hayride, those bastards.

After the dance, we went back to the cabin to sleep and I feel asleep quickly. This morning we were woken up at 7:30 instead of the usual 7 and everyone changed into clothes before packing everything up and putting our luggage on the porch of the cabin so we would be ready to leave today. Then we went to breakfast and ate pastries, then we filled out evalutations, did the thank you circle, and then went to the bowl to sing "The Princess Pat" and to say our goodbyes and get the newspaper. Then that ended, we took last minute pictures, said goodbye and gave hugs to literally everyone, then packed up the car and left.

That ended a short but fun week at camp and no other week will ever be the same after this.
