Demons abound in LA. From thepowerplayers

I dreamed. I didn’t have nightmares, but I dreamed. It was flash card, bang, the hills are alive and it was real. There was terror, but it wasn’t a nightmare. There, in Los Angeles, were thousands of demons. I could see that they were killing everything in sight, that they were killing humans and themselves, seething with hatred, but above it all, I saw Angel and Spike. They were so venomous, so vicious and they were not alone in fighting.

We got there and made quick of the demons. Faith was there, even Dawn was there, with a sword. Okay, that part was nightmarish, but she held her own, her training had come in handy and we were making sure that she was safe. I smiled, and then heard something and I found myself drooling, my right arm asleep from supporting my head during the on-flight nap.

We were landing in ten minutes and Los Angeles would soon be coming into view. Over head, there was thunder and I looked to my left to see that Dawn had slept right through the announcement, but Faith was now awake and was giving me a weird look. I looked at her the same way. As I spoke to her Dawn awoke and stretched and had the most disgusting, attention-getting yawn in the history of the world.

“Let me guess, the slayers on the plane both had the same dream? We were fighting, winning, there was rain, the whole nine yards? Spike and Angel kicking ass, there and Dawn with a sword?”

Faith nodded. It was weird how we could have the same dreams. There was a Giles aspect to my dream too, but it was hard to define. It was almost as though he were looking over us, or down at us, almost instructing us, from above. Okay, it was safe to say that I didn’t get that part, because Giles, not exactly wanting anything to do with this mission at the moment. Could it mean something? I didn’t want to bring it up. Faith had been way vocal about her desire to not work for Giles anymore if he continued to be an asshole, for lack of a better word, which he was being.

Los Angeles came into view as Faith looked out of the window and on the other aisle, passing across a sleeping older woman, I did the same thing. The rain looked massive and worse…way, way worse, demons were starting to gather. How could this be? It looked like they were all going to the same place.

“Okay, Dawn, that part in our dreams about you having a sword. Forget that part.”
