Gosh! The item i was looking at on Ebay, that was £2.50 an hour ago when i went offline to do some work is now over £9! Since as my max bid was going to be £6, i think i shall be giving that one a miss. Its a rare one, but not that rare that i need to go spending nigh on a tenner on it.
Ebay has revealed a whole range of new things for me to collect and fill my future house with!
**I'm such a hoarder!**
Alan has not been in touch much at all tonight. Just one wuick phone call at 7 o clock. I'm going to try and ring him. I reckon he may have fallen asleep, knackered from work. This happens quite a lot. Heh heh - he says that he was leaving me to play on the computer - awww.
Bloody hell - now that item is £16! Somebody must want that really bad. (Oh, its a miniature bottle of whisky, for those of you who may be wondering). I know that the Johnny walker ones sell for huge amounts sometimes, as there is a large collector base for those - but this was really inconspicuous until about 40 minutes before it was due to close. I wonder what will happen to it in the last 10 minutes?
Second lecture of term tomorrow - I've not done too much of the reading, so i'm a bit annoyed at myself. However, i'm doing my usual stealthy thing of taking a disc with the set articles and case law on it to work, where i will print it out (law articles are usually at least 40 pages long each, and cases go on forever - hence why i'm not printing them at home!) and have a quick skim through it all as i'm working. **£21 and counting) But this way i'll at least have the basics in place in order that i may have my share in the understanding of the lecture. Oh, i don't know if i mentioned it yet, but this term's subject is Gender, Medicine and Law. Not really what i had in mind as an ideal option, but necessary if i wish to have a more complete understanding of the subject i'm considering for my master's dissertation. Besides, its not turning out to be as heavily based in feminism as i had anticipated the course seems quite well laid out. I do feel sorry for the one bloke that has enrolled on this course though, as the professor said he will end up being the 'voice of masculinity' for us! I wouldn't be surprised if we never see him again :-)
**£31 at the close - i never would have guessed it!**
Anyhow - i'm off to pootle around getting ready for bed. I hope work tomorrow goes as quickly and relatively hassle-free as today did - but 2 days in a row would be a miracle :-)
