The estate agent didn't end up calling at all yesterday. Whilst this might be because the vendor hasn't contacted her about the figures yet, I found it a bit rude that she didn't call to keep me in the picture. (One of my pet peeves is people not calling when they say they will).
So now I have the dilemma of choosing between calling her this morning (pro: stops me from having to guess what is going on, con: looking too eager to buy this house and undermining our negotiating position) and sitting it out until she calls me (cons: I have another unproductive day in work while I fret about worst-case scenarios, pros: we don't look too bothered and retain the upper hand in the haggling).
Any way, as we were feeling peeved last night, we lined up another viewing in the area with a different agent. Like slev said, nothing's final til the contracts are exchanged so it can't hurt to keep other things in mind.
