2Down...(Almost)
It was lovely outside this morning. Not as bitterly cold as it has been on previous mornings and it’s also beginning to be light by the time I get to the station. It makes it much easier to face going into work when it doesn’t feel like you are getting up in the middle of the night! Now I’m just waiting for it to get a bit lighter in the evenings too :)
Odd observation of the day: My shoes, which up until this morning fitted perfectly well, now feel too big. A lot too big. They are flapping about on my heels when I walk. I thought it might be because my feet were cold and had maybe shrunk a little (though not even sure if this can happen) but surely that wouldn’t make such a noticeable difference?
I don’t have a huge amount on in work this week which is making it difficult to keep the time ticking by. The afternoons are especially slow. On the one or two things I have to get done this week, the other side are refusing to communicate with me and it’s meaning that certain things are going to be a bit last minute. It’s odd this time, because all I want is a copy of their costs schedule so I can advise the client how much this matter is likely to cost them, you think they’d perk up given it’s about paying their bills! However, I’ve chased the damn schedule every day for the last 4 working days and still nothing.
