Afternoon...
I seem to have ‘lost’ an inordinate amount of time off my recording-clock today. I can understand this on days when I am less busy and have to think of what I actually filled the time with - but today I have been rushed off my feet up until now, even working 15 minutes of my lunch break, so I can’t see why I am short 1 hour 15 mins off my clock. I guess I must have spent longer over some of the work than I have put down, but it’s puzzling.
The snow is still coming down, at one point in the day it looked like it was giving up and becoming more rainy, but it’s gone back to being snow, albeit lighter than before. I’m just hoping my car isn’t faring too badly in the station car park as dad has removed my ice scraper to do his car, so I would just have to run the engine til it melts or something. On the whole though, I prefer to not have to add 20 minutes on to my travel time simply to thaw out the vehicle.
The boss hasn’t emailed for the last 30 minutes or so, so the work is easing off a bit. I am going to see if I can persuade the Associate to allow me to use my flexi time to knock off half an hour early as I just want to be out of here now there is less to do. The last 30 - 45 minutes of the day drag if you haven’t got much to occupy you.
