Does anyone know what type of country the United States is considered to be? For example, China is a third-world country, but what is the United States. I desperately need to know...please help me.

Thanks Justin. I had been trying to figure this stupid thing out all weekend. Being called a first world country seemed too simple to me, but I like to overanalyze everything. You're the greatest!

It isn't really a "first-world country," the proper term would be a post-industrial country.
