So I was back in the school today but with a different class.  I was with the Finch lookalike's class.

After the morning announcements it was math which the teacher forgot was a shortened lesson.  Then it was PE which was probably the least PE looking PE lesson I've ever seen.  Since the school is in a building that doesn't just contain the school there is no enclosed areas apart from the car park, sorry, parking lot.  There is a square of grass at the side which they use instead.  The kids have to run around it, but that means running on the pavement and you get random people walking through.  They did this game which was a bit like 'Whats the time Mr Wolf' whilst another class played American Football and did French skipping.  I didn't mind observing PE because not only did I get to stand outside in the nice warm sun, I also got to ogle at the fit PE teacher :D

Then it was back inside to get ready to go to assembly.  Not only does the school not have a proper playing field, it doesn't have a hall big enough to fit the whole school in.  This means they have to either use the theatre or the community centre.  Either way it means crossing the 6 lanes of Broad Street on a walk sign that lasts for 10 seconds.  Fun!  Eventually when we are all across the road we go inside the theatre for a 2 hour long assembly.  Its because it was career week so they had a lawyer, a politician and two dog handlers come in and give talks and do a question and answer session.  The dog handlers were the best, they brought in their dogs that are used for sniffing out explosives.  They even did a demonstration.

It was back across Broad Street for lunch and then a shortened afternoon session since it was the last day before Spring Break.  I got to see all the school buses come to pick the pupils up and take them home.  Waited to say goodbye to Phil the principal before deciding to walk back to Suburban station, down Broad Street.  I'm glad I did that rather than take the subway as it was a lovely sunny and warm day.  I went past a really cool mural and actually managed to take a picture of it!

I carried on walking down until I got to City Hall which was really lovely.  The architecture was fantastic, even inside the little bit where you walk through to get to the courtyard in the middle looked amazing.

Went back to the house in Narberth... although I nearly didn't make it.  The stupid train conductors didn't shout the name of the station until the train was just about to go again and I couldn't remember stopping at Merion so I nearly missed my stop!  When Stoobs got home we watched V for Vendetta on the computer in their office.  However apart from the chairs at their desks, theres only an armchair, which I was sat on so Stoobs was sat on the exercise bike to watch the movie!
