[For Hybrid]

Bond was not particularly concerned about the dinosaurs although he had relocated to the compound. At least in terms of sleeping arrangements. He was not willing to take his chances in a cave at night since that seemed to be the ideal place for a predator to live. He only had so many bullets with him after all. Once he'd found a safe, private spot for his Triumph and books about himself, he wandered back in the direction of the jungle, curious about his new neighbors.

He heard a plaintive moaning sound coming from further in the trees and he wandered towards it until he found what could only have been described as a remarkably large and unhappy creature who had managed to get its rather elongated neck caught in a narrow space between a tree branch and a tree trunk. Obviously a brontosaurus and perhaps slightly dim.

"Dear me, but we're certainly sad," Bond murmured as he approached it. "I would be too, I suppose, if I found myself in a similar predicament. I can only wonder what your friends would think if they found you like this."

There was no real danger and he could see no signs of ferocious animals coming this way but he could only imagine what an easy meal this rather clumsy one would make if it remained pinned. It regarded him uncertainly as he sighed before climbing up the tree and gently and then forcibly shoving its head free. For its part, the dinosaur was briefly startled and butted his hand but not hard enough to knock him out of the tree and when it realized what was happening, it readily accepted the aid. Once freed, it made a seemingly happier sound and snagged a few leaves off of the branch before James found his way back to the ground. At which point, it chewed peaceably with no real interest in pressing on.
