An Announcement of great pride and pleasure...
This next announcment will ffect almost none of you. Most who read this will not care and will go along w/ their dailey lives feeling the world has not changed at all. However, it effects me a great deal, so you must read about it. So deal w/ it.
Last night, my little sister Jenna announced that the parts for her school play were assigned through the mail. The play, as we had known before, was West Side Story. It has a fairly large cast to it, making it ideal for a middle school play w/ over a hundred students involved. But only handful of speaking parts. Jen surprised us all w/ her permenant roll as Riff's girlfriend, Graziella.
For those who have not seen this play/ movie, it is a musical about two gangs and a Romeo/Juliet love story. Graziella, though few in lines, is technically the third female lead after Maria and Annita. She also has a few key dance numbers as well. Needless to say w were thrilled for her. We all assumed she would be in the corus as in the past. She gets nervouse singing by herself. But I guess since Graziella doest ahve any solos, she is ok with it.
My babysister is growing up! Shes not even lil any more, in her last year of middle school. *sob* ok, all done now. I simply felt that I had to share . Again, if this doesnt effect you at all, then oh well. But now you know. SO there.
Time to go finish packing. The week of mi padre starts today at noon. Make sure your all online so I dont die of seperation from any form of social life. Leave messages for later and I'll talk to ya'll soon.
