(no subject)
My flight to the States (including a connection flight in Amsterdam) is scheduled to leave in six hours. Yipes. One of the things I don't like about flying is the height the airplane goes (or is it called latitude?) I mean, why does it have to go so high up into the sky?? Needless to say, I never fight over the window seat. Or rather, I fight to NOT get the window seat. I like aisle seats, because then you don't have to go through everyone's knees to get out.
Up till now I've always taken El-Al, but now we're going on KLM, the Dutch airline. It'll be interesting for me to fly with them. I don't think it'll be much different , but I guess it won't feel as Jewish as the other. Maybe I'll meet interesting people.
Whenever I arrive in America, there's always this interesting sensation that goes through me. It doesn't register in my mind that I'm there. It's kind of cool. Even though I speak English, I feel somewhat foreign there but it goes away after a few days (together with the jet lag, I guess).
Anywho, I'm excited! And I wanna wish myself and my sister and mom a safe trip!
