What is with Zach? I don't understand him at all. Sometimes he seems all right. I know he can be nice, but it can be hard to remember that when he's so busy being a prat. We would have gone to Hogsmeade together if Susan hadn't been upset that day, but since then he hasn't wanted to go for a walk or even really talk to me. It is VERY FRUSTRATING. And then there's the whole business with Seamus- what was that even about? Since when do they even know each other? He just decided to embarrass him for no real reason, or no good reason, since he claims that it was some kind of ridiculous bet. And Ernie doesn't even seem to CARE. Boys can be so ANNOYING. Maybe I ought to spend more time with girls. I don't know. It's all just... ARRGH.

Honestly, I don't understand people sometimes. Are N.E.W.T.s driving us all crazy already? I was expecting to need a few calming draughts and of course you always hear about people breaking out in boils or something equally disgusting, but I didn't think that people would turn into complete prats.
And now I'm going to try to work on the essay for Defense Against the Dark Arts, because I can't handle being in the common room anymore.
