Sibling Care

At the moment, Ali is siting in the "readers' corner" and reading books to Jason (pointing at pictures and explaining what they are).

This morning, when the kids woke up I went to their room, grabbed them both, and leaned back in the nursing recliner in hopes that they'll go back to sleep. Jason wasn't in the mood for sleeping. He started reaching for Ali's face, so I put my hand in front of it so that he doesn't bug her. He tried to peel my fingers away, but I didn't let him. Then Ali explained that he wants to take my hand away so that he can give her a kiss. She was right :)

Jason kept wiggling around and doing "beeps" (pressing his nose or finger against my nose, to which I respond "beep"). Then, at some point Ali's blanket came off of her. He grabbed the blanket and covered her up in a very caring fashion. The cutest thing I've seen him do lately.

Also, he's walking around the house now as if he's been doing it for more than a month.
