Reddit's infamous
r/AskReddit subreddit, and let's just say that people learned some crazy things back in school. From wildly inaccurate history lessons to failed attempts at intimidating students through fear politics, it's pretty remarkable what some schools do to try to brainwash their students into blindly accepting false truths. Some of our favorite highlights include learning that "Dr." in a street address stood for doctor, being challenged by a teacher about the spelling of your own name, and that your grades will stay on some sort of lifelong permanent record.
