Only 8 dancers are left!
Opening group number: Travis, what exactly is a "banana extravaganza"? I saw no bananas. I saw some pretty cool choreography, though, and the costumes were awesome.
Janette & Evan (jazz): Sonya once again delivered something kind of odd, quite cool, and always interesting. Nicely danced, and of course, Janette can do no wrong. ^o^
Kayla (solo): I loved her dress! I must admit I'm growing weary of the girl's contemporary solos, they all sort of seem the same after a while... At least Kayla showed some personality beyond a big smile, this time.
Jeanine & Brandon (slow waltz): Hum, there didn't seem to be much actual waltzing, on top of the extreme slowness, though it was pretty. Not all that memorable.
Jason (solo): Lots of jumping, but gorgeously controlled jumping, and it didn't feel forced. Good work.
Melissa & Ade (cha-cha): This seemed slow, but it wasn't. It was sexy, but at the same time, it seemed either a tiniest bit forced or not quite there. Still, these two are great together.
Janette (solo): Blah blah she's hot blah blah she's got great lines blah blah she moves like a dream blah blah.
Kayla & Jason (Broadway): This was smooth and jazzy and looooooovely. Kayla finally danced like a woman! This is the first week she's impressed me with anything more than her technique and flexibility. This was very well suited to both of them.
Ade (solo): I just love this guy. And man, can he ever jump. Once again, gravity goes out the window!
Janette & Evan (rumba): I really liked this, and it was surprising to see Evan pretty much pull off sexy.
Melissa (solo): An oddly slow-looking 80s-tastic pointe number. Not quite sure what to think about it, to be honest.
Jeanine & Brandon (pop-jazz): I like Jeanine more each time I see her dance, and I love her figure. She was great. Brandon, while really good, just doesn't really do it for me most of the time, from a dance point of view. This number was great, and they were really, really well synchronised.
Evan (solo): Aw, I'm so glad that someone with that old-style dancing has made it this far, he's always great to watch do his own stuff.
Jeanine (solo): It's going to be a battle of the Js for me, I don't know which one I like best anymore! Waaaaah! But I looooooved this solo. It was smart and quirky and unexpected.
Melissa & Ade (contemporary): I want to make a crack about it being funny that a piece about breast cancer is danced by the dancer with breast that barely register, but this was so incredibly touching that I can't. To see the judges moved to tears like that... The lifts were incredible, and that leap onto Ade's back was amazing. So much trust between those two, it's beautiful to see.
Brandon (solo): Impressive turns and jumps, but I don't know, it didn't seem to be more than that to me.
Kayla & Jason (hip hop): Zombies! ZOMG! :D It was great, what more can I say? Jason really impressed me this week.
Arg, who won't make it through?! I'll guess that Evan will have the fewest votes for the guys, and for the girls... Melissa? I definitely hope Janette, Jeanine, Ade and Jason make it to the next round.
It's the show's 100th show, and they celebrate by giving Cat voluminous 70s hair (but she rocks it <3) and covering her with a leopard made out of sequins! O_O
That opening number was quite something. Loved the effect with the mirrors!
The female dancers with the fewest votes are Kayla and Janette (NOOOOOOOO! D:).
Ooh, they brought back the hummingbird and flower routine from the third season! Looks as good as ever.
Bottom two male dancers are Jason and Brandon.
Well, I was totally wrong, this time! Let's see, I'd want Brandon and Kayla to be sent home, but what do I know? I seriously underestimated the appeal of the buff ballerina. Not that I dislike her, by any means, I just didn't think she'd gather enough support.
Oooh, the bench from the second season. Damn, is that ever a beautiful routine.
And it's Ramalama! :D
Seriously, "One of the biggest stars of the silver screen"? Katie Holmes is not that big a star. *rolls eyes*
STUPID AMERICAN VOTERS! How could you not vote for Janette??? Goodbye, my love. ;____; Nice to know that both Mia and Nigel agreed with me about her, at least.
GODDAMNIT, IDIOT AUDIENCE! If you had to choose between Brandon and Jason, you were supposed to go with Jason, you morons. :P
That's all I have to say about that.
