And to all a tenimyu night!

Jill, Becca and I decided to go to demachi again tonight, seeing as it was the last show. We arrived quite early, and there were already other girls hanging around, so we staked out our corner and soon realised that from where we were standing, we could see the stage monitor in the second-floor dressing room, so we could sort of figure out at what point they were in the show. We also saw a head bobbing up and down in the room and identified it as Horio's, which was amusing enough until we noticed it was NAKED HORIO! Or at least shirtless Horio. XD Little did we know that the evening would only get better!

First of all, when the security guards started setting up camp, we were told that we shouldn't be standing where we were because it was the restaurant's corner (indeed, there was a restaurant right behind us and a bunch of people who'd just attended a wedding were waiting for it to open), but we sort of shuffled back a bit and the guards left us alone, though the three Japanese girls who'd been standing nearby moved over to the other side of the street, opposite the concert hall. By now, there was quite a crowd of girls on that side of the street, right across from the stage doors, but we decided that we were better situated; if any of the boys walked, they'd walk right by us, and the taxis would also be going our way if they were going to the station.

Suddenly, there was a commotion near the theatre, and two girls dashed by us, security guys in hot pursuit. At first I thought the guys would give up when the girls got far enough down the street, but they didn't, and one of them actually grabbed one of the girls by the shoulders. We figure the girls must have been taking pictures of the naked ichinen in the dressing room. Also, up in the dressing room, the cast soon noticed that we could see them, and the blinds were quickly shut. Except every once in a while someone would peek out and try to open the blinds, only for them to be drawn right back again, presumably by a myuboy who didn't want to be putting on a show for the whole street.

The second big commotion of the evening happened a bit after the first taxi-load of boys left: a bunch of high school boys in uniform were walking down the street, and the crowd of girls was squealing because some of the actors were coming out of the theatre at the same time. The school kids had these "OMG there are so many girls here and they're squealing please god let it be for us!" grins on their faces, and it was hilarious.

It must be said that we (not us in particular, but the fans in general) were attracting a lot of attention. A middle-aged white guy came and stood by us for a while, asking about what the hell was going on. He left when Becca started talking about how Takuya would probably be sitting in Kazuki's lap, or something. XD A bit later a Japanese guy asked us what was going on and nodded and sort of went, "Aaah, sou," when I told him, "Tenisu no oujisama no myujikaru deshita! :D"

And then... then, my Takumi Attractor* must have kicked in, because Saitou Takumi decided, unlike everyone else, to walk, so he walked right by us and smiled at our enthusiastic waves and "Otsukaresama"-ing. He was wearing a different tuque, though it was as ratty-looking as last night's -- I think I need to knit him a new one for Christmas.

There was also a commotion when a couple of the boys (don't know which ones) ran through the crowd to get into the 7-11, followed by a bunch of security guys. I wonder what they bought? O.O Aside from that, one of the taxis went into the opposite direction, but the others all drove by our corner. Even though we were alone on our side, we did get waves, OMG-look-gaijin! looks, an "Arigatou!" (who was that?!) and waving through the back window, so we were quite satisfied.

After that, well... the evening's awesome quotient went through the roof.

Now I can't wait until the next musical! Until then, I'll work at rewriting the lyrics to "On My Way" because clearly, it should go,

On my way
On the Ya-
manoteeeee!

* Was it my new Oishi winter charm? Was it my Rurouni Kenshin and Yuu Yuu Hakusho phone straps (of which I now own complete sets, bitches! XD) Was it just me? Or -- no, it has to be my new underwear! I bought it while shopping with Becca yesterday, so had it in my bag when I spotted him at the station last night, and I was wearing a pair today. *nods* That's got to be it. So from now on, these shall be known as my Takumi panties. XDDD
