like, idk, for some reason it kind of reminded me of evangelion (just a bit, like, not a ton or anything!!) ((and maybe it wasn't inspired by it bc omg in my head only anime exists these days)) but if for some reason you were inspired by it at all YOU HAVE MY LOVE forever. i liked their interactions a lot a lot a lot. like, how cocky jiho is at first and how kyung kinda resents him bc kyung is kyung and kyung is kinda a brat (((sometimes))). this is a really flaily comment, i'm sorry, but i just really enjoyed this even if it's kind of short. it's kind of like little flashes of their growth and pasts and future. like, kyung being the general's son but still not being good enough is just ow. my heart. and then jiho's stupid pick-up lines and how it's brought up again in the end. ah.

Jiho's confusion was the best thing Kyung had ever known. It was nice knowing of someone that didn't have everything figured out all the time.
"Well, that's just great. Now I'm gonna look like an idiot," Jiho muttered.
"You already do."
The sun shone too brightly, too warmly. Yet, they had managed to stay breathing. Kyung thought that maybe Jiho was the sun. He shone like the medals on the General's jacket, gold and honorable. Kyung maybe could be the moon then. Another face of existence, reflecting what it could to shed some light when the darkness came.
If Kyung remembered correctly, they had plenty of time to practice but only one time to get it right.
Kyung had the knowledge while Jiho had the courage. Evenly matched in their own way. They had to learn to trust that. Maybe there was time to.
ok rly i just liked it all. the entire fic. it was amazing and i'm not rly into zikyung as anything more than bros 4 life, but it worked well here and it reminds me of when i did rly rly ship them bc they have this connection that's so great!!! aah. thank you author-anon for this amazing fic!!!

And Neon Genesis Evangelion is awesome!!!!! I could only hope that this would be half as good. But thanks for the comparison, man. My Kyung is not and never will be the Kyung you imagine, and I'm kinda sad about that. But Zico, you know? I love to write him. He's my sanity sometimes. (Does that sound weird?)
I have no idea how you quoted is much of a short fic, but I don't even care. You know I adore you, kid. Hearts!
