been thinking about a friend/exboyfriend of mine that i was talking to when i decided to ditch earth science. i felt like a phycologist ananlyzing a patient, and he always feels that way apparently since his brain practically has a file for everyone of his friends. makes sense that he wants to be a phycologist. but i really do not like having people getting into my head and analyzing me, sometimes i like to keep some of my inner pain to myself, although it does come out from time to time. but since he's a good person and good company i'll give him permission. it's interesting listening to him talk, he has so many layers to him. on the surface he's very thick-headed and hard to get to, out of touch with other people. then you get him one-on-one and he opens up and you see a whole other side to him. it's like all of a sudden he becomes perseptive and in touch with people. i guess he tends to freeze up and hide in a shell with a large group of people, and needs things to be more personal and intimate to open up.
one time we were talking and he said we should hang out more, at first i thought he was crazy for just saying that at random, but maybe i now relize why he said that. he is graduating in june since he's a year older and he just wants to keep in touch. sometimes wish i weren't such an idiot and always trying to find out people's motives behind what they do. i always wondered why anyone would want to hang out with me unless they wanted something from me, maybe people really do like my company.
