Hey! This is the first entry since the return from Poland. Well, let me
tell you, it was the most amazing 12 days of my life. Honestly, it was
amazing. I met this little girl named Bozena and she was like a little
sister. The Polish people are soo friendly, too. It was great. Everyday
we drove two hours to a little town called Kedzierzyn-Kozle (say that
three times fast lol), and we would go to this little chruch and then
we'd have programs for the kids in the square with puppets and dancing
and it was great. And... my wonderful roommate, Brittney (who I
actually love to death), had never been in Europe before, so she didn't
know how to use a converter. So, she tried to use her hairdryer and
couldn't understand why it wouldn't work. After using like 15 different
converters, she decided to give up. Well, that night, we realized the
lights wouldn't come on. Not only that, but the boiler was electric and
so... we took cold showers for the rest of the trip. How wonderful. So,
that wasn't very fun. But, everything else was cool. We acutally had
time to do a little horseback riding. And... I dunno, being on a horse
in Poland looking out over the gorgeous feilds into the sunset... it
was like a dream. I had never felt more at peace in my life. It was
absolutely amazing. Alright, well I'll write more later, I'm totally
exhausted and I have to go to a wedding bright and early. Peace.
