another PhD student transitions
Those of you who know who my Swedish, former roommate is will be pleased to hear that he just called me with excellent news. He passed his B exam! If he's shared his contact information with you, then may I suggest sending him a quick congratulations? He's worked hard for his degree. And I have personally watched this hard work take a toll on him. (Hehe, I jest.)
If you can't contact him, then you could consider leaving him congrats in the comments. He passes through my blog occassionally and will surely see them.
