So im reading dale carnegie's book... the win friends one.. yea that one.. and he talks about happiness in the home and how Abe Lincoln had a pretty crappy marriage due to his nagging wife.. anyways, so i got imediately interested... and im like.. hey.. i wanna know more about this little relationship.. so i googled it.. and found this article

its better to get a divorce then stay together "for the kids" and have them grow up in a negative environment with parents that hate eachother.

To this day I think of my parents being together and get the chills... or laugh... depends on my mood. But yikes... I wonder how they ever go together in the first place and I think if they stayed together they would both be miserable... so now... at least my dad is happy right? (mom will never be, thats just how she is)

pssshhh well no crap dufus, I doubt anyone really goes into a marriage saying "Hhheeyyyy I wanna get divorced" well... if they did they'd be really dumb for getting married in the first place.

Anyhow... you focus wwaayyyy too much on the future... Balance is key. If the person is right you should know, but hey shit happens, we aren't fortune tellers.
