Kittens batch 3

We had these for a shorter time because they had so many problems, but enjoyed them just the same.

Here's Gretel playing with a sock. Gretel had bulgy eyes before she grew up a little and we wound up calling her Marty, unfortunately enough. "Mousie" became the name a for a while after. She was the only totally social cat in this batch. The others were ill or feral. It's not a really rewarding group, but they were cute nonetheless.

And here she is with Kang, a male Siamese mix who had lung problems so bad two vets advised euthanizing. But he eats like a horse and beats up the other cats, so they decided he ought to get a chance. He was doing better when he went back.

And here's Hank, who doesn't like anyone, not even people who feed him. Not even people who feed him tuna. He was starting to put up with us after four weeks but a better household for a feral cat was found.

However, if you wrap him in a sock or towel, he calms down a lot.

And here's Zelda, the semi-social monster who gallops around and shreds plastic milk jug rings with her teeth.

Cats in a heap.

They all liked being wrapped up in socks.

Really it is nice to be all wrapped up.
