Storm Season

The sirens are going on sporadically. Tripp's closet is cleaned out except for water, pillows, blankets, guns and ammo. Will put the animals in the laundry room if the sirens go off again, and they can take their chances. Man, I hate this time of year!

It sounds kind of cool to me, but I imagine your first tornado (and the period leading up to it) filled you with that sort of "damn, this is freaky and awesome" enthusiasm yourself.

Realistically, huddling in a closet while the world shakes, for the twentieth time (and having had to drop everything you were doing in order to get in there), probably gets really old, really fast.

At least we have basements up here in Minneapolis. I know if I had to stay in a house (I'm in a condo) w/o a basement, heck even if I had one I'd go ahead w/a safe room.
