Late night and ER rooms
Well, last night was an interesting thing, Lilly Kat had some issues...so off to the ER room we went. It took an amazing 5 hours to be seen, from then on I'm officially calling it the Non Emergency ER room.
In the mean time of waiting, I watched some guy loose it in the lobby, he undressed fully, threw his cell phone accost the room shattering it on one of the walls, screaming something about ants crawling about. Talk about the main attraction I was wondering whom was going to do what for the post game entertainment.
Conditions got worse, of course someone passing out in the lobby is no concern, I tried my best to expedite the process but with several already failed attempts it didn't look like I was getting any further then I had.
About 3:45 we got in the back, by then conditions had degraded to scare the living fur outa me, but staying calm was a must for her sake...though I was half tempted to eat someone alive starting with their kidneys and working may way up. Got several amusing looks as I had my Folkmanis Border Collie puppet with me, I figured that the men in blue shirts would be after me next...
They hooked her up to the IV and such about 4, her color had returned about 1.5 hours later...looked a lot better and I was very much relieved, though at this time going to work wasn't going to happen.
After it was all said and done, I had been up since 5 am the previous morning, we drove back to her house about 9'ish, I headed off to home to make some calls on my now dead cell phone. Called my boss and got things tied up on that end and such, as well as other people that were concerned for her well being.
Slept till around 3:30 pm or so...and the rest as they say is history...
I dunno, I feel like getting something new, soft and fuzzy for this whole ordeal...gonna try to make the plush store in Fairfax today...Lilly Kat needs to get her kitty Rose food and such, also stop by wal-mart before they close tonight fur something.
Well, I'm off to pad around home a bit, the rain smells good for some reason...prob. from all the pollutants in the air making it slightly acidic.
