Well..not that we went out all that much anyways, but since it looks like the smoking ban will be going into effect we say a fond goodbye to those in the scene who we consider friends. We will miss your company greatly, but will not go out to places where we are not welcome due to being smokers. We'll be sitting at home laughing when the bars and clubs close down to loss of revenue and when the lawsuits are filed by homeowners who live near said establishments when the crime rate and noise complaints start to add up due to us being forced to go to the sidewalks to have a smoke.

And before the anti-smoking fanatics flame me: know that even if I was a non-smoker I'd still be against this ban. When will we as citizens stand up and tell the gov't to quit interferring in our lives? A lady interviewed on 9-News said it best: " Drinking is bad for you; lets bring back prohibition, red meat is bad for you lets ban it. Where does it stop?" This is just the tip of the iceberg of our "Freedom for all" gov't taking away the rights of its citizens.
