Ronnie the Ranga, really?
I had my design final due yesterday. I was up for 24+ hours by the time the final was due. I spent the night in the ODE office working on it with leslie while she tried to study geomorphology.
It was a great night. Even if really long. Without her I never would have been able to make it through this design class. Not just because of the immense help she's been in critique and giving InDesign tips. She makes me curious about design, she's helped me see that photos can play a part in design, it doesn't need to be adversarial. She makes me curious, I want to know more about this so I can understand something she's so interested. On top of it, she makes me want to be better, not just with design but in photo and most everything else I do.
I hope Steve Asbury likes my design work. I tried really hard and looking at my work in the beginning of the term, I think I've definitely progressed(in no small part because of Leslie). I'm pretty stoked with it. I feel like I know enough now that I can teach myself more.
Even after hitting me in the face with a beer soaked and other detritus soaked towel, she still might be the lovelyest woman I've ever met.
