Singing was probably the only thing the "condition" didn't tarnish, as it still carried his Heavenly Grace, even at night. He didn't care that Momma Once rather had him mute, he sang to entertain the creatures that crowded around him, even with some traits. Gordon was still a bit ashamed of his voice, or rather, the connotations of how he finally found it. He could still hear his sister pleading him to be like the rest of his family, to lie and tell them all she really hadn't released the neurotoxin...

No, this wasn't the time to remember such a horrible event. As cruel as that poofy-haired woman was, she was nothing compared to what the angel had witnessed to. Hence why his love for Once runs deep and his lullaby rung so true: Freeman wished he could take the young man and whisk him away to a better world with Norma by his side. But for now, he'd have to make due by making each day count and give Once-ler the happiness and peace he deserved. He played his piano a little song to mourn all his losses..."I've been believing..."
