Tricoastalness

Thursday and Friday classes were cancelled, so I'm now in Boston for the weekend, enjoying beautiful spring weather and the company of a much beloved sawicki. Unfortunately for cmouse, it seems that everyone and their grandmother are in town while she's in NYC. Such is life.
While I revel in the knowledge that this is the second weekend in a row I get to be with Jeremy, spontaneity does have its downsides. Last minute airplane tickets are expensive and subject you to extra scrutiny at security checkpoints. The woman going through my things seemed surprised by my general cheerfulness and patience, but hey, it was my own damn fault for buying tickets less than 24 hours in advance. I'll be flying to Orange County (by way of Houston) on Monday though, so I hope I don't get stopped by security again. The flight out of Boston is far too early in the morning for me to be pleasant. Ah, the joys of being tricoastal.
There are lots of things to do now that I'm in Boston. I've put my condo on the market, and I need to put up some new window treatments in Lori's room before buyers start coming in. For those of you who might be interested, our first open house is this Sunday, from 12pm to 2pm, and the asking price is $479k.
In other news, U.S. News and World Report released their annual rankings of graduate schools today. Tulane Med is now in the Top 50 of research-oriented medical schools. Take that Scott Cowen! You, our very own president, said we were worthless because we weren't in the Top 50. And now you have to give a crap about us. Oh, the irony.
