It worked, mostly
I am the proud new owner of a Volkswagen Gti. It's silver with black leather, all the options. 2003 with 51k, and Chris helped me get it for $4k under blue book. I love my boss. My insurance will be higher since it's newer and I didn't have collision on the 240sx, and financing requires you to. Honestly, I'd do it anyway, since I now have a car worth fixing and keeping. I have two people seriously interested in my old car, so hopefully it will be gone by the weekend. All told, my car payment will be $212 a month, insurance goes up to $160 (from $77), but that will go down in a year when I turn 25. Mike's is now lower than mine because of that. With saving $100 a month in gas due to better milage, I'm at $300 a month for a vastly better car. I'm really glad to have finally done it!
