What good is a silly
poll without some silly poll results?
Since, of course, the people who take the time to answer my polls are clearly a good general representative of the population as a whole, I feel wholly qualified to make several complete generalizations from the responses.
Warning: tongue-in-cheek sexist statements - may be offensive and unfunny to some.
Today's entertainment, thanks to me being bored enough to wade through poll answers and make a few rough calculations on them. Here's what I came up with:
skeeze factor
Nearly half of the guys out there are hopeless skeezes, while only 15% of the girls are. (people who picked the "Girls!" choice to any of the questions)
...conclusion: That says it all, really. Sheesh, you people.
the art of subtlety
30% of the girls have been "caught" sight-seeing, but they were only jokingly reprimanded. Over 65% of guys were reprimanded, and 1/4 of them deserved it.
...conclusion: Guys are skeezes. Girls are better at tactfully hiding their observance.
obliviousness factor
Nearly half of the guys claim they aren't watched. Only one girl does.
...conclusion: Girls are more in touch with reality. I can guarentee as fact that over half of the people who claim that they aren't watched are wrong (in part because I've done some of the watching).
confidence factor
Only 30% of guys and 20% of girls take being watched as a compliment.
...conclusion: Guys have more self-esteem. I suppose alternately, guys also don't have to worry so much about being stalked.
skank factor
60% of girls have gotten the creeps from being watched, while only 6% of guys have.
...conclusion: Guys leer too much. Skeezes. Alternately, girls are more easily freaked, but then, there's still that stalking factor.
Overall conclusion: guys are more skeezy, girls are more subtle. Hm, I guess that's not especially interesting. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled life. I promise to make the next one more interesting.
