People like weddings (aka they like free food and booze). That's ridiculous, and it's completely not bridezilla to not want people you don't know and who don't know you at YOUR wedding. Just start telling the parents they can pay for the extra people they want to be there so badly.

As a sidenote, if you need my bridesmaid-ly duty at the wedding to be standing by the door with a baseball bat being your wedding bouncer, I'll gladly oblige (and Sara probably would too). Offer's on the table.

I JUST got done bitching to Crazy Edy about people I don't know that I can't manage to get off the wedding guest list. And as far as I can add, we had met the minimum, so I'm pretty sure she's just doing it to be an asshole.

Ahh Crazy Edy is a trickster. You should just invite the craziest KU kids you can and stick them with/near the strangers.

Rich also just texted me that he doesn't think Rich's mom added any of Rich's dad's family to the guest list. We're at 170 now, I want to invite people from work, and I am not having over 200 people. Someone is going to die today, I'm just not sure whom.

That's a communication problem with Rich's parents, not you two. Please make sure you invite at least some of your friends from work. Weddings are about the bride and groom first, their families second. Rich's parents already HAD their wedding. =)
