I feel like I'm going through a rough patch without anything particularly bad happening (well, the end of break is particularly bad, but that hasn't happened yet). Have to wonder if there is actually something wrong with me, or if I'm just a bigger hypochondriac than I realised. Admittedly, the second one is a lot more likely, but.
Anyway! There's a friendmeme on digimon, right? I'll probably comment later, seeing as we'll be out this afternoon. Possibly people will have stopped commenting on the thing by then - hey, can't be helped. Lateness is fashionable according to me.

Ahahaha. |D Well, there's Tyranitar. And Skarmory. And Latios. And Torchic. And Articuno. And Breloom, and Aerodactyl, and Suicune, and Cresselia. And Charmander, Charizard, Pidgey, Pichu, Pikachu, Meowth, Growlithe, Doduo, Seadra, Kingdra, Cubone, Marowak, Scyther, Eevee, Jolteon, Porygon, Porygon2, Zapdos, Moltres, Dratini, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Togekiss, Natu, Mareep, Entei, Lugia, Blaziken, Mudkip (yeah, yeah...), Wingull, Azurill, Carvanha, Flygon, Swablu, Altaria, Anorith, Armaldo, Groudon, Dialga, Giratina, argh someone stop me.
2. Why do you like your absolute favorite?
Tyranitar is probably my absolute favourite, making the question how can you not think he's awesome! *cough* I mean, he's badass, wonderful stats all round, doesn't need any items to get a free stat boost, godly movepool, capable of fulfilling practically any role you want him to, gets ~*Dragon Dance*~, adorable when drawn as a chibi, and did I mention he's badass? Pokedex entries say that he rends mountains when he's bored, if I remember correctly. Mountains. Oh, and he looks damn cool, which is definitely a huge bonus. Garchomp is an ugly bastard who can go cry in a corner.
And then there's Skarmory, who is still quite badass - giant freaking metal bird, woo! - although not quite as versatile. Even so, he's a giant freaking metal bird, which has got to be worth something.
Latios is reasonably cool compared to his sister, who is cute but not a favourite. He's like a jet plane! ♥ Love that Sp. Attack stat, too. But since he is a pain in the ass to get a decent one of, he has to settle behind the other two.
Torchic is totally the cutest thing ever, Articuno is gorgeous and was my favourite in Generation I even though she's not very good in battles, Breloom is sweet (c'mon, he's a little kangaroo!) and kills things very quickly which is a winning combination, Aerodactyl is still cool and I haven't forgiven Generation IV for relegating him from the OU tier, Suicune is beautiful aesthetically and competitively, Cresselia I love mostly because she's not Blissey.
The rest of them could easily fit into a three-way Venn diagram with categories Adorable, Badass and Homicidal Maniacs Awesome To Use.
3. What is your favorite type of Pokémon? Why?
Flying! :DDD Everything and their mothers carry either Boltbeam or Stone Edge, but that's just what Roost is for. And yeah, I kind of like birds.
After that, Dragon, Fire and Water. Fire-types tend to be a bit crap, but at least a lot of them are cool.
4. If you were a Pokémon, what would you be?
Um. A Shroomish? Yes, a large mushroom with no arms and a monobrow, sounds perfect.
5. What starter Pokémon would you choose?
How can you deny Torchic? D: It's all cute and fuzzy and eeeee! And I would prevent it from evolving until level 35, and after it evolved I would give it a Rare Candy so it would only have to spend about five minutes as Combusken. And then it would be a Blaziken and I would shout "hooray". ♥
6. What would be the first Pokémon you catch on your journey? (Name one for each region.)
Kanto - I-I think Pidgey is cute. D: Cute but useless. So I'd catch one and box it. And after that, I'd wait until a decent Pokemon showed up for my second team member... *checks current Leaf Green playthrough* which seemed to be Snorlax. A pretty long wait, but there you go.
Johto - Actually, I don't know. Probably a Pidgey again.
Hoenn - Zigzagoon's the obvious choice for Pickup. Then, maybe a Taillow or something... Or waiting until Fallarbor to get a Skarmory, since they're native to Hoenn as well. Shroomish I'd wait to catch until I'd got all the Badges at least, because getting it to learn Spore otherwise would be hell.
Sinnoh - Eh, a Buizel? They're available pretty early. Meditite are found as soon as you reach Oreburgh, but while they are definitely powerhouses, I don't really like their design much. Bah.
7. Name your dream team. (Any region)
Oh god, I'm crap at coming up with teams. Um. A team of which half are Pokemon I really like: Breloom ♥, Aerodactyl, Togekiss, Metagross, Electivire, Swampert. Breloom as a starter because he doesn't need set-up time to start murdering, except for maybe one Protect if the enemy carries Will-O-Wisp. Aerodactyl and a Choiced Rock Slide would take care of Flyers. Unless they're weaker on the Special side, in which case Togekiss can cause havoc instead. Hopefully one of them would eventually draw out something with Thunderbolt and/or Ice Beam, which is what Electivire and Agiligross are there for, respectively. Swampert would just be there to phaze and Curse if it's the last Pokemon, hoping that the rest of the team already dealt with the enemy Grass-types. I guess the team would still suffer from not having any dedicated special wall, but I can't exactly come up with anything better.
Or if it just meant a team fully comprising Pokemon I really like... well, I'd just look at the list up there and pick-and-choose.
8. How long have you been interested in Pokémon?
Since Yellow came out in Europe. My then-best friend already had Blue but couldn't afford Yellow, and encouraged me to get it so I could trade all of my legendaries for Pidgeys. He was kind of an arse. I'm not bitter, though - at least he introduced me to the whole thing. And soon afterwards I introduced myself to the wonders of overwriting a save file.

Nah. |D Stealth Pokefan, that's me. Although I am pretty bad at it, because I've got a Suicune poster on my bedroom wall.

Aw, but I don't like leaving things blank. Then-best friend, who I mentioned above, his favourite was Blastoise until Gold/Silver came out, and then it was Ho-oh. I moved schools before Ruby/Sapphire, though.

Err, don't really keep up with the plushies or figures, although I have a plush Pikachu (doesn't everyone?). Game - Silver! \o/ I really liked G/S/C; it saddens me that I've seen anime watchers hate on the region instead of the season, if that makes sense. Hey, they were ambitious enough to include two regions, even if the second region did take half an hour to breeze through! But no, they haven't bothered with any of that since, preferring to spend their time on making every Pokemon sprite distorted, flickery and seizure-inducing. PS: The Crystal animations all look miles better than Emerald/Diamond/Pearl's.

There are a fair few Pokemon I think are ugly or boring or useless or any combination thereof, but for real dislike you have to look at the OU tier.
Blissey - ASDHJDFKHDFSAIDSFJHDBVDHSLASF DIE. Happily, she's much easier to kill now than she was in Generation II, but that doesn't make it any less satisfying.
Mantine - Wants to be the counterpart to Skarmory, which is already enough to induce Pokehating rage. But even worse, it's shite at it. I mean, a special wall which takes 4x damage from Thunderbolt? Not to mention that it's a stingray, and I haven't really forgiven stingrays yet either. ;-;
Garchomp - Gible is reasonably cute and Gabite is reasonably badass, but Garchomp is plain bleah. Even when it's not holding a horribly unfair Berry. 95 Hall of Fame entries on and mowing Cynthia's Garchomp down still hasn't lost its charm.
Zubat, Golbat, Geodude, Graveler - If there's anyone out there who plays the games and doesn't hate these with a passion, I'd like photographic proof.
Registeel, Regigigas - Regice I can sort of sympathise with for being a Blissey alternative during R/S-only play, and Regirock is actually damn good with Sandstorm support, but there's no excuse for Registeel and even less for Regigigas. And they're all ugly.
That was more like nine, but never mind. Milotic used to be on this list somewhere, for being impossible to OHKO and impossible to find, but since I actually started raising two she's kind of grown on me. I still prefer Suicune, Vaporeon and Swampert, though.

Favourite, Johto. ;-; Least favourite... I really don't know, they all have their good points, but I'm less attached to Sinnoh than any of the others.

Jasmine is cute! ♥ And her D/P appearance means that the existence of Johto is at least acknowledged, which is nice. I seem to remember Erika being pretty awesome in Special, as well. I like Lance, even evil!Special!Lance. Cynthia's OK, although her ears make me think of something CLAMP-related I've forgotten the name of, and I'm not even much of a CLAMP fan. The rest of them? Bah, they're just things to run over for extra money.

I-I haven't properly watched it since Indigo *shuffle* but I remember liking the bit in movie 3 where there is Unexpected Charizard. And I think I liked bits of movie 8 a lot, but I can't remember much of it beyond "oh look D/P Pokemon" and I only got about 2/3 of the way through.

Wossname, Krazyshipping? Meowth/Pikachu, that's it.

Favourite: Dragon Dance (hell yes!), Swords Dance (nearly as badass, despite involving dancing), Rock Slide (screw Stone Edge, this was here first), Spore (BRELOOM ♥ and Parasect, but who cares about Parasect?), Thunder Wave (sadly a lot of things are immune to it, but then Sleep Clause doesn't ruin its fun). Also, anything with a high critical ratio, paired with a Scope Lens. Not actually practical (unless you have a Kingdra or something), but one hell of a lot of fun.
Least favourite: Explosion, Selfdestruct (they're both good, I just don't like them), Confuse Ray, Attract (since I'm always on the receiving end...), Present (bwahahaha), anything with recoil damage.
27. Do you prefer Pokémon that are powerful or Pokémon that have a good design (in other words, good looks)?
